This type of mental and emotional torment can be manifested as:

How anxiety symptoms snowball and become larger

With all of these symptoms anxiety grows and grows, as each of these symptoms will affect one another and will make a person feel even more anxious.

For example, if you feel stressed, uncomfortable, and overwhelmed by something, it’s very natural for you to have trouble sleeping.

Once you have trouble sleeping, you will then likely suffer from insomnia and fatigue.

Once you’re fatigued, it’s then natural for you to be more prone to feeling impatient and irritable.

And so on.

This is how more and more anxiety can build up over time, and before you know it, it can snowball into a nightmare of sorts, with each additional “symptom” of anxiety making you even more anxious and stressed than you were before.

The good news, though, is that you can take steps to reduce and eliminate anxiety in your life.

Getting rid of anxiety

The key to getting rid of anxiety is to understand how anxiety is created in the first place.

At the very beginning of this article, you learned that anxiety is created in the mind, via a combination of stressful beliefs and perceptions.

This is very helpful to know, because if anxiety is created in the mind, you can also eliminate anxiety in the mind. And this can be a lot easier to do than you think, especially once you learn how to do it.

To eliminate anxiety in your mind, you’ll want to identify the beliefs and perceptions that are contributing to your anxiety, and then systematically eliminate and replace them with beliefs and perceptions that create comfortable, peaceful feelings, instead.

And just like that – almost as if by magic – you’ll eliminate (or at least reduce) the feelings of anxiety that torment you, and all the “symptoms” of anxiety will begin disappearing as well.
