Here is the best self confidence test in the entire world: how confident do you think you are, regardless of whether anyone else agrees with you?
The more that you and not other people think of yourself as being confident, the more self confident you are.
Here’s why this is such a smart test of your confidence, and why it’s so important for you to see yourself as being self confident, even if no one else does.
Seeing yourself as confident makes you more self confident
Remember, self confidence is a good feeling about yourself and your capabilities. When you don’t see yourself as self confident, you naturally don’t feel that good about yourself or your capabilities, and as a result, you’re naturally less self confident.
Inversely, the more you think of yourself as being self confident, the better you feel about yourself and your capabilties, so the more confident you are.
The lesson: seeing yourself as confident helps create self confidence, so it’s in your best interest to see yourself as confident.
How and why this happens
To learn more about how and why the way you see yourself affects your confidence level, click on each of the following two examples:
When you think of yourself as lacking confidence or having no confidence, and think thoughts like ‘I don’t have confidence in myself’ you naturally ask the following types of questions:
- Why do I lack confidence in myself?
- Why have I lost my confidence?
- Why do I have no confidence in myself at all, even if other people have confidence in me?
- What is wrong with me?
Your mind then provides all sorts of answers to these types of questions, like: you’re not as smart as others, or as good looking as others, or you don’t have that much money, and so on.
The result of this is that you end up feeling worse about yourself and your capabilities, and you start thinking that you ‘can’t’ or ‘won’t’ ever be confident, considering how much you have working against you.
This is how thinking to yourself things like ‘I have zero confidence in me’ or ‘I don’t have confidence in myself or my abilities’ literally destroys your self confidence and makes you an unconfident person.
When you think of yourself as being a confident person, and think thoughts like ‘I have confidence in me’, or ‘I am very confident’, you naturally ask the following type of question: why do I have confidence in myself?
Then your mind provides all sorts of answers to this question, like: I’ve got brains and intelligence (even if I’m not the smartest person on the planet), I like the way I look (even if other people don’t), I’ve got skills and capabilities (and even if I don’t have money, I don’t need money to be happy), and so on.
The result of this is that you end up feeling better about yourself and your capabilities, and you start thinking about all the things you can do and achieve, even if other people don’t think much of you or appreciate what you have going for you.
This is how thinking to yourself ‘I am a confident person’ boosts your self confidence and makes you even more self confident.

Why a low self confidence test or quiz is useless
A valuable insight: it helps to see yourself as self confident, and you don’t need anyone else’s support, acceptance, approval, or permission to do this.
So, for your own good, don’t ever take a self confidence test created by someone else that tells you whether or not you are ‘really’ confident, or whether you suffer from low self confidence, and so on.
The reason for this is that if you let anyone else determine for you how confident you are or not, you will always be less self confident. After all, you are trusting and valuing other people’s judgment of you, more than your own judgment of yourself, and this makes you less self confident.
To have what some people consider true self confidence, always know without a doubt that you are a self confident person, regardless of what anyone else says or thinks, or what any test results say. If you think about it, this is an extremely self confident way to be, indeed.
How to know without a doubt that you are confident
If you already believe in yourself to some degree, you can already know without a doubt that you are self confident to some degree. The only question is how self confident you are.
Remember, the more you see yourself as being confident, the more you create confidence in yourself.
So the name of the game, now, is to see yourself in the most confident light that your mind can comfortably and honestly accept, regardless of what other people think.
For example, if you can honestly accept yourself as being moderately confident, rather than barely confident, do that; and if you can accept yourself as being very confident, rather than moderately confident, do that; and if you can see yourself as being extremely confident, rather than very confident, do that.
Doing this is how to test your self confidence constructively and intelligently, by always striving to see yourself in the most confident light that your mind can comfortably and honestly accept, regardless of what anyone else might or might not think.
